I did an art study on old vocaloid sub videos for a tumblr ask and I went the hyper-authentic route; Adobe CS2 products, Windows Movie Maker, Paint Tool SAI's most minimal settings, I already had a virtual machine for windows 95, although im almost certain most people were using Vista around that time, in addition to inferred coloring styles of those videos and a SPECIFIC font used by old vocaloid subtitle videos, which I learned were almost always sourced from Adobe Premiere CS2.

This is the most authentic 2009 I could possibly get and I'm genuinely very proud of myself for wrangling this, albeit short, video to acutally encode and work on modern machines.

There was probably an easier way to do this, most of the ~effect~ is just atrocious resolution and specific effects that people have probably recreated, but I wanted the REAL DEAL, if it didn't look or behave like a relic, I didn't want it!
